NO SUNDAY PRACTICE

I don't know when it's going to rain tomorrow, but it's going to rain...I feel it in my joints.

Here is a more refined schedule:

Tues. 2/23: 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Pitchers and Catchers ONLY - Burbank High School Track/Field

Thurs. 2/25: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Glendale Church of Christ (Southeast on Glenoaks toward Glendale. Left on Alameda. Right on 5th. Right on Spazier - turn into back parking lot. OR if you're in the Burbank Hills - East/Southeast on Kenneth toward Glendale. Right on Spazier - turn into back parking lot.)

Sun. 2/28: 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. - McCambridge Field #1

Tues. 3/2: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. - Pacific Park MAP

Everyone - There are batting cages at a couple different locations in town. GET TO THEM ON YOUR OWN TIME!!! Remember what we talked about - Proper bat grip. Here are some great videos:

In this video, you'll notice how Pujols is bringing his load stride IN - he's working toward right field - don't worry about that - we'll get to it later in the year. What I want you to focus on are his front shoulder staying closed and pointed toward the ball, his hips and then his hands coming into the strike zone BEFORE the bat head!!!
